What to do to join Church Builders:

There are two ways that you can join our group.

1.       You can ask to be added to our e-newsletter list by following instructions listed under the Contact Us button.  E-newsletters will be sent to you periodically during the year with prayer needs and updates.

2.       Keep checking our website for news that a project site has been chosen, and when available, click on the Current Project Registration Button and follow instructions.

Once a project has been chosen, the leadership team works with hotels, motels and RV Parks to block off rooms for our group, then provides this information to interested people, and then God brings together who needs to go. (we always have "enough.")

This information will be supplied on the website and through our e-mail newsletters and by Registration Packets for Churches that have registered in past years.  For registration information, please click on Registration.

Individuals then pray and ask God whether or not they need to join us where He is working.  Each person provides his own transportation, accommodations and some meals. The kitchen crew provides the noon & evening meals during the 5 days we are there to work.  (Meal costs are included in the Registration Donation made when you register.)

Each person working on the "site" will need to come expecting to get blessed. They need to bring basic things like a hammer, a tool pouch, and other tools they might have-- especially if there are an expert or even above average in a particular area, like electrical work, plumbing, sheet rocking, or roofing. (Be sure and label each tool so that you can return home with all of them!)

We also have "Church Builder Meetings" during the year to fellowship, provide information about the place we are going, and give reports on where we've been and the progress they are achieving once we leave.
We invite anyone interested in Church Builders to come to these meetings, as it gives us an opportunity to "SHOW" you who we are. Watch the calendar or home page for announcements of Meetings throughout the year.

Those going don't have to have any special skills, as God is the one actually doing the work, He will just be using your hands. We only have a few "skilled" carpenters who lead us, the rest are school teachers & coaches, retired oil company workers, EMTs, nurses, lawyers, preachers, small business owners, bankers, Indian chiefs (well, I don't know… yet...) welders, mechanics, along with other retired folks and an assortment of other fine individuals.

This is an excellent way to spend your family vacation. It lets you be blessed by giving to someone else, teach your children about missions and get to see places you wouldn't get to otherwise go to.
